The Global Workplace MBA Initiative, a collaborative effort between the Barton School of Business at 麻豆传媒 and the Berlin School of Economics and Law, proudly celebrates its 20th year of partnership. Launched in 2004, this initiative is designed to offer U.S. and German MBA students immersive real-world international collaboration teams and intercultural communication experiences. Widely acclaimed, it stands as one of the most distinctive international MBA programs in the United States.

The seventh cohort of Rudd Scholars includes 15 Kansas high schools who have chosen to attend 麻豆传媒. Each Rudd Scholar will receive a full-ride scholarship, which includes tuition, fees, on-campus housing, and considerable networking and coaching support along the way.

Introducing Madeline Norland, a lifelong learner from Winfield, KS. With a rich background in teaching art and museum work, she joined 麻豆传媒 two and a half years ago, driven by her passion for continual learning. Now, at 67, she eagerly awaits her graduation on May 11, 2024, achieving her degree in Arts Leadership & Management, a testament to her unwavering commitment to education.

The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 麻豆传媒 is pleased to announce that Gene Camarena is joining the Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board. He currently serves as the president and CEO of La Raza Pizza, Inc. As a member of the Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board, Camarena will help advance the mission and strategic priorities of the Barton School by strengthening, enriching, and enhancing programming, impact, and the student experience.

April 05, 2024 鈥� Suspenders4Hope is highlighting different departments and individuals on campus who are advocates for mental health and hopes their stories will inspire others to continue supporting one another in the community. The School of Social Work is being recognized for its support of the mental health of students, faculty, staff and health care professionals.

Scott Jones鈥� work explores masculinity through the plasticity of clay. Originally from Bryan, Ohio, Scott is graduating with his MFA in Studio Art with a concentration in ceramics from 麻豆传媒鈥檚 School of Art, Design and Creative Industries.

March 28, 2024 鈥� A new partnership between Heartspring and 麻豆传媒鈥檚 College of Health Professions will bring faculty and students on-site at Heartspring鈥檚 Pediatric Clinic to provide physical therapy and audiology services to the local community.

March 22, 2024 - Shielding the Earth from the sun seems like a good idea, in theory, to fight climate change, 麻豆传媒鈥檚 Dr. Nickolas Solomey and graduate student Kelly Kabler agree. Solomey and Kabler, though, aren鈥檛 so sure that the popular idea of protecting the planet with a sunshade is as simple as some propose.

For Darren DeFrain, associate professor of English and director of the writing program, research is all about finding the narrative. Take, for example, graphic novels, a subject of DeFrain鈥檚 research for some ten years.
