Jeremy Hill who has worked at the W. Frank Barton School of Business鈥檚 Center for Economic Development and Business Research (CEDBR) as the director since 2009, will step down from his role at 麻豆传媒 effective June 30 to pursue a new career opporunity. Dr. Chris Broberg, associate dean faculty & research in the Barton School, will serve as interim director while a search for a permanent successor is conducted.

May 23, 2024 - Wichita State's Marissa Jensen is halfway through her master鈥檚 degree in exercise science. She is a two-time American Athletic Conference All-Academic selection with a 4.0 grade-point average. This week, she is competing in the NCAA West Preliminaries in Fayetteville, Ark., for a second straight season.

NASA SUITS student

May 20, 2024 - Wichita State is one of 10 teams which advanced to the spring semester competition in the NASA SUITS challenge. The team travels to Test Week in Houston at the Johnson Space Center this week. The list of finalists includes the University of California Berkeley, University of Colorado, University of Michigan, Georgia Tech, Purdue University and others.

Wichita State's National Institute for Aviation Research has been awarded $10 million from NASA to study advanced materials for hypersonic applications.
