Army awards 麻豆传媒-NIAR additional $13.5 million for high-speed missile materials research

Oct. 28, 2020 -- The National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) at 麻豆传媒 announces a new $13.5 million award from the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation & Missile Center (CCDC AvMC) for continued applied research on emerging materials for high-speed missile applications.

Hyatt Place at Wichita State to celebrate official opening

Oct. 26, 2020 鈥� The first Hyatt Place in Wichita has opened on Wichita State's Innovation Campus. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27 to celebrate the 106-suite hotel.

Wichita State professor named 2020 HFE Woman of the Year

Oct. 22, 2020 鈥� Carryl Baldwin, Wichita State鈥檚Carl and Rozina Cassat Distinguished Professor of Aging, received the 2020 Woman of the Year Award, presented by the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, Human Factors and Ergonomics Women鈥檚 Organization for Mentorship and Networking.
