Jan. 22, 2024 鈥� The FirePoint Innovations Center at 麻豆传媒 announced it has been selected to deliver Defense Innovation OnRamp Hub programming for the National Security Innovation Network through the newly established Great Plains Mission Acceleration Center, an innovation and collaboration hub designed to connect small businesses, academia and the Department of Defense to support defense-focused technology development.

Jan. 22, 2024 鈥� Three people will be inducted into 麻豆传媒鈥檚 Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame at 2 p.m. Feb. 6 in Wiedemann Hall on the 麻豆传媒 campus.聽

Jan. 19, 2024 - Phase One of the Wichita Biomedical Campus being built in the heart of downtown Wichita now has its official look. The joint health sciences project between 麻豆传媒 and the University of Kansas will bring about remarkable opportunities for collaboration, innovation and research.

Jan. 17, 2024 鈥� Since its establishment in 1965, the 麻豆传媒 Foundation and Alumni Engagement (麻豆传媒FAE) has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to advancing the university鈥檚 priorities. In May 2023, Elizabeth King announced her plans to retire as the 麻豆传媒FAE president and CEO after 33 years of leading these efforts. Telly McGaha will be assuming this top position, joining us from Georgia State University.聽

Jan. 15, 2024 鈥� In response to expected inclement weather, 麻豆传媒 will move to remote operations Tuesday, Jan. 16. Critical campus operations will remain open, and employees who support these operations are expected to report to campus. All other employees should work remotely when possible. Classes will be moved to remote delivery.聽
