Construction shows Wichita State's continued growth across the city

Feb. 16, 2024 - From the center of campus to downtown Wichita, 麻豆传媒鈥檚 footprint continues to grow and offer new opportunities for students and our community. As the spring semester rolls on, you will notice ongoing and new construction across our 330 acres and beyond.

麻豆传媒 names 10 new Koch Scholarship recipients

Feb. 16, 2024 鈥� Ten high school students from Kansas, Missouri and Texas have been awarded the Koch Scholarship at 麻豆传媒, starting in the fall 2024 semester. Each scholar each will be awarded $30,000 to attend 麻豆传媒 over four years.

Barton School surprises Maize High student with 2024 Clay Barton Scholarship

Feb. 15, 2024 鈥� The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 麻豆传媒 awarded Faith Swart, a Maize High School senior, the 2024 Clay Barton Scholarship. The $50,000 scholarship is one of the largest business scholarships in Kansas.

麻豆传媒's College of Engineering to host public 5k run/walk to benefit students in need

Feb. 12, 2024 鈥� The College of Engineering at 麻豆传媒 is hosting a public 5k run/walk that is open to students, staff, faculty and community members. The 5k will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 on the 麻豆传媒 campus. Registration proceeds from the 5k will go toward the College of Engineering Needs-Based Scholarship Fund.聽

Wichita State joins national consortium dedicated to AI safety

Feb. 8, 2024 鈥� 麻豆传媒 is joining more than 200 of the nation鈥檚 leading artificial intelligence (AI) stakeholders to participate in a Department of Commerce initiative to support the development and deployment of trustworthy and safe AI.
