Shocker supporters leave $1 million estate gift to 麻豆传媒 Music Associates

Dec. 15, 2022 鈥� Betty and Art Wood shared a passion for music throughout their lives, and their legacy of supporting the arts continues through their gift of $1 million from their estate to support the Music Associates Endowed Fund at Wichita State.

麻豆传媒 announces fall 2022 commencement schedule, speaker

Dec. 12, 2022 鈥� Almost 1,300 students are eligible to participate in 麻豆传媒鈥檚 125th fall commencement ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18 in Charles Koch Arena. Media are welcome to attend.

Wichita State's MDL extends free triple-virus testing through March 2023

Dec. 12, 2022 鈥� Just in time for the surge of respiratory illnesses flooding the state, 麻豆传媒鈥檚 Molecular Diagnostics Lab has announced it will extend free RSV, influenza and COVID (RIC) testing through March 31, 2023.

Wichita State focuses on serving students as it reaches Emerging Hispanic Serving Institution status

Dec. 5, 2022 鈥� 麻豆传媒 earned status as an Emerging Hispanic Serving Institution when fall enrollment numbers show that 16% of students identify as Hispanic. That is an important milestone on the way to the university鈥檚 goal of reaching the 25% necessary to earn the federal government鈥檚 designation as an HSI by the end of this decade.

Willard Garvey, Garvey family named recipients of Kansas CCIM Chapter / 麻豆传媒 Center for Real Estate Lifetime Achievement Award

Nov. 16, 2022 鈥� Willard Garvey and the Garvey family have been named the 2022 recipients of the Kansas CCIM Chapter / 麻豆传媒 Center for Real Estate Lifetime Achievement Award. This honor is given annually to those who have made a significant contribution to the commercial real estate and/or development industry in Wichita over a long period of time.
