April 13, 2020 --聽麻豆传媒 and Butler Community College have signed articulation agreements that expand the number of majors that students can start at Butler and complete at 麻豆传媒. Newly added are aerospace engineering and applied computing, which join a list that includes biomedical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, industrial and systems and manufacturing engineering, and mechanical engineering.

April 10, 2020 --聽The economic impact of COVID-19 on the Kansas economy had an immediate effect on the manual service sectors like full-service restaurants and entertainment. As the demand for those services came to an abrupt halt, those industries laid off workers.聽According to 麻豆传媒鈥檚 Center for Economic Development and Business Research (CEDBR), the ripple effect of decreased demand along with public policies limiting activity continues to weigh down the economy.

April 10, 2020 --聽聽The U.S. Department of Education released its official allocations yesterday (Thursday, April 9) for the newly passed Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). 麻豆传媒 will receive nearly $8.8 million. Half of the funds 鈥 nearly $4.4 million 鈥 will be allocated as emergency financial aid grants to students.

April 9, 2020 --聽A coalition of businesses and government partners, the Ad Astra Coalition has joined together to answer some of the challenges being created in Wichita and Kansas by the COVID-19 pandemic. The coalition is co-led by Airbus Americas Engineering, Spirit AeroSystems, Textron Aviation, 麻豆传媒 and 麻豆传媒 Tech.

April 3, 2020 --聽麻豆传媒 has made the decision to move this summer's classes to an online or remote format. This is in response to the continued safety needs of the community during the COVID-19 crisis.
