麻豆传媒 Password Recovery Account Setup

This page contains information on how to setup your 麻豆传媒 Microsoft 365 password recovery account (authentication methods). Microsoft's Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) is used to recover/reset your my麻豆传媒 password.  See link in side menu for resetting your password.

The first time accessing password reset, o365.wichita.edu, or using my麻豆传媒ID@wichita.edu for University resources, you may be prompted to set up a Microsoft 365 account to access password recovery. Complete the following steps to set up your account.

Please use Private or Incognito window when setting up your password. Click here for information on accessing Private/Incognito browser windows

If step 1 is missing, please start with the following:

  • In a web browser, go to
  • Enter Username and enter the characters displayed to verify that you are not a bot
    NOTE:  Your username is NOT your email address. 
    • Username is:  your my麻豆传媒 ID@wichita.edu
      (for example: x111y222@wichita.edu)

  1. Click Next to start the process in the More information required box

  2. Click 'Set it up now' by the Authentication method you wish to use

  3. Enter the information required for the chosen Authentication method

  4. Enter the information to verify the Authentication method and click Text me or Call me depending on how you want to verify the method

  5. Enter the code or answer the call depending on the selection from step 4

  6. Click Finish to finalize setup
