Experience the exceptional artistry of the 麻豆传媒 Concert Chorale, the premiere choral ensemble at 麻豆传媒. This highly selective, auditioned choir is open to all 麻豆传媒 students who seek a rigorous and quality choral experience regardless of major. The Chorale cultivates an atmosphere of collegiality, fostering lasting memories and musical experiences through high artistic standards and the pursuit of excellence.

The Concert Chorale performs a wide variety of repertoire from the Renaissance to the twenty-first century, ensuring a diverse and captivating program. Annually, they join other 麻豆传媒 choirs for the beloved Candlelight Christmas Concert and collaborate with the 麻豆传媒 Symphony Orchestra for the spring ‘Oratorio.’

Known for their excellence, the Chorale tours annually and is frequently invited to perform at prestigious professional conferences such as the American Choral Directors Association and the National Association for Music Education. Don’t miss this opportunity to witness the finest choral ensemble at 麻豆传媒 in a performance that promises to inspire and delight.

Joining the Concert Chorale is Wichita State’s Wu Choir and Shocker Choir. The Wu Choir, a treble-voiced (soprano/alot) ensemble, and the Shocker Choir, a bass-voiced (tenor/bass) chorus, are comprised of music and non-music majors, reflecting their members’ diverse and inclusive musical interests.

Open to singers campus-wide, these ensembles offer a quality choral experience through meaningful repertoire, collegiality, and excellent performance. Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy the rich and dynamic choral traditions of 麻豆传媒.

During operating hours, 麻豆传媒 students can present their Shocker Card and get a free ticket in advance at the Fine Arts Box Office in Duerksen Fine Arts Center. Tickets can be purchased online through the Fine Arts Box Office at or by phone at 316-978-3233.
