Children's Choir Information

Under the direction of the gifted Elaine Quilichini, the Children's Choir is an enjoyable group that welcomes no more than 30 youngsters entering grades 2鈥�5 (next school year).

Camp activities run from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm, June 2 - 6, 2025. During the camp, students will enjoy two hours of daily rehearsals, with a snack break and time for games and folk dancing. Our week will end with a performance in Weidemann Hall on Friday, June 6 at 4:30 pm. Families will be responsible for providing khaki-colored pants for the performance. A camp t-shirt is provided in the cost of registration. On Friday afternoon, students may stay on campus for lunch in Shocker Hall, movie time, rest & relaxation. Our camp staff will be happy to assist students in getting ready for the performance.

Participation in the Children's Choir camp is $100, and full payment is requested upon registration.

Treble Choir Information

The Treble Choir welcomes students entering grades 5-12 (next school year) and is directed by Elaine Quilichini. Up to 45 students with unchanged voices are invited to join this dynamic ensemble.

Camp activities run from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. June 9 - 13, 2025, including five hours of daily rehearsals, lunch, and two snack breaks. Students can either bring their own lunch or opt for meals in Shocker Hall at an additional cost. After rehearsals, enjoy various afternoon activities like swimming, art exploration at the Ulrich, folk dancing, bowling, and games. The grand finale concert, in collaboration with the adult Kodaly workshop participants, will take place on Friday, June 14 at 4:00 pm in Wiedemann Recital Hall.

If you sign up before May 1, the Treble Choir camp costs $240, and after that date, it costs $275. Secure your spot with a $50 deposit, and all final payments are due by May 31. If campers choose to have lunch in Shocker Hall daily, an extra $60 will be added. Convenient online payment options are available. Parents can also apply for one of four tuition reduction awards by completing the Application for Tuition Waiver. Join us for a week of music, fun, and camaraderie!

Elaine Quilichini

Director, Treble and Children's Choirs

Internationally recognized choral conductor Elaine Quilichini has conducted across Canada, the United States, Australia, Japan, Argentina, and the Canary Islands. Ms. Quilichini founded the well-known in 1995 and conducted the University of Calgary Women's Choir for over ten years. She has served as Artistic Director of summer youth choir programs at Nebraska Wesleyan University, 麻豆传媒, and the New England Conservatory. Ms. Quilichini has a successful choral series published by Alliance Music and was recipient of the Alberta Choral Federation's "con spirito" award for her contributions to the choral arts. Global Television also recognized Ms. Quilichini as a "Woman of Vision."
