The VPC lab has teamed up with the Derby Senior Center to conduct research to understand and improve visual, cognitive, and perceptual performance related to driving. Grants (Principle Investigator)
- Improve older drivers鈥� visual performance through training (2010). Grant funded for $15,000 by Gridley-Hoover Aging Research Fund.
- Detection of Collision Events in Fog (2009). Grant funded by ARCS, 麻豆传媒 for $4,000.
Research Opportunities
Currently, the Visual Perception & Cognition (VPC) Lab is looking for enthusiastic and hard-working research assistants to help run several of its lab experiments. Students who have already taken PSY 311: Research Methods or those who will take it next semester will be given a higher preference over those who didn't meet the specification.
