As a member of the Sino-Tibetan family languages, Mandarin Chinese is the official language for People鈥檚 Republic of China, the Republic of China and Singapore. It is spoken by over 960 million people in the world. It is also one of the six languages in the United Nation.
As China rises to the International stage, a Chinese learning fever started in the United States. Learning Chinese becomes many people鈥檚 agenda.
Here at the MCLL department, we offers basic to intermediate Chinese courses to those interested in the language as well as the culture. We focus on learner鈥檚 communication skills and cultural immersion.
