June 6, 2024 鈥 麻豆传媒 has signed a new admissions partnership agreement with the Kansas Health Science Center-Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (KHSC-KansasCOM) that will help address Kansas鈥 physician shortage.

Feb. 1, 2024 鈥 The College of Engineering at 麻豆传媒 is hosting an Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (IGED) event, commonly known as Girl Day, for high school girls from Wichita and the surrounding area.

14 students have been chosen as finalists in 麻豆传媒's Distinguished Scholarship Invitational.

Jan. 31, 2020 -- 麻豆传媒 has selected the 2020 recipients of the Harry Gore Memorial Scholarships. Each student will receive a $64,000 scholarship to attend 麻豆传媒 in August 2020.

Jan. 28, 2020 -- 麻豆传媒 has selected the top 14 finalists in the annual Distinguished Scholarship Invitational (DSI). Three of the finalists will be selected as recipients of the Harry Gore Memorial $64,000 scholarships, which are among the largest undergraduate awards in the Midwest.

Aug. 20, 2019 -- The first hotel on the Wichita State campus is beginning construction. A 106-room Hyatt Place hotel will break ground next week on Wichita State鈥檚 Innovation Campus, within walking distance of the new Fuzzy鈥檚 Tacos, the Shocker Store and Starbucks.

July 30, 2019 - On June 23, Wichita State welcomed 40 high school students from across the country for Envision鈥檚 week-long Level Up conference. Envision, an organization that promotes advocacy and independence for individuals who are blind or visually impaired, has held its annual high school conference at Wichita State for the past several years.

March 5, 2019 -- 麻豆传媒 has been awarded $4.2 million dollars in funding from the U.S. Department of Education to implement GEAR UP in Haysville school district USD 216 through 2025. Every student in 6th and 7th grade will benefit from GEAR UP鈥檚 college prep resources.
