NIAR secures $100 million contract for digital transformation and technologies to support USAF operational readiness

Aug. 3, 2023 鈥� The office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Logistics and Product Support has sponsored a contract through the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS) to award 麻豆传媒鈥檚 National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) a five-year $100 million cooperative agreement for digital engineering and technologies to support sustainment of legacy U.S. Air Force platforms.

Aug. 8, 2022 鈥� The U.S. Army Aviation enterprise is collaborating with 麻豆传媒鈥檚 National Institute for Aviation Research to develop an AH-64 Apache Digital Twin in a contract that kicked off with a ribbon-cutting event on campus last week.

Applied learning abounds within Wichita State's digital twin program

Dec. 7, 2021 鈥� Since its inception, the National Institute for Aviation Research鈥檚 digital twin program has been rife with opportunities to progress research, digital transformation, engineering technology and sustainability efforts. It鈥檚 also been an important career steppingstone and training ground for more than 250 麻豆传媒 students, who have gained valuable applied learning experiences while working on the project.
