Sept. 19, 2023 - Wichita State student Denae Sawyer spent the spring semester interning remotely with Dzanc Books. Her work consisted of reading and researching to determine if the manuscript fit Dzanc鈥檚 standards and sensibility. She also evaluated the potential audience and marketing strategies.

A 麻豆传媒 researcher is working to develop an app to make those words come alive for visually impaired comic book readers, Dr. Darren DeFrain, associate professor of English and director of Wichita State鈥檚 writing program, has recently been granted $11,000 from the John A. See Innovation Award to develop Vizling.
