March 18, 2024 鈥� 麻豆传媒 is not just reshaping downtown Wichita with the Wichita Biomedical Campus; it鈥檚 redefining health care education by harnessing the dynamic interplay between health care and the humanities.聽 麻豆传媒鈥檚 new Academic Center for Biomedical and Health Humanities, or HealthHum as it鈥檚 been monikered, aims to increase the visibility of a wide range of research and teaching in areas related to health care and humanities beyond the traditional health professions.

From books to screens, Kathy Downes helped Wichita State students find information for 43 years

Aug. 28, 2023 - Kathy Downes, dean of University Libraries since 2017, came to Wichita State in 1979 as a biomedical librarian. She will retire this fall semester. Downes played a central role as Ablah Library expanded and the digital services of University Libraries grew in number and importance.
