July 24, 2019 -- It鈥檚 easy to take the free t-shirts, halftime performances and musical chairs on the Charles Koch Arena basketball court for granted. But, during every Shocker Athletics game, a team of student marketing and game operations interns follows a carefully choreographed plan to make sure fans have a good time in between each play.

June 19, 2019 - Gordon Vadakin discusses his retirement from Wichita State bowling after building the program over 40-plus years as bowler and coach.

April 16, 2019 -- Ryan Kendall, a senior from Pelham, Alabama, is a computer science major who took the long route to Wichita State鈥檚 Selected Team. He didn鈥檛 make the team as a freshman and spent the past two seasons on the Developmental Team. Wichita State coach Gordon Vadakin estimates around 10 percent of the bowlers who don鈥檛 make the team in their early years continue to try out for a spot on the Selected Team.

Oct. 17, 2018 -- 麻豆传媒's Shocker Rowing team will soon have a new home in the downtown River Vista development.

Sept. 19, 2018 -- Senior Grant Cohen believes that big dreams can lead to bigger opportunities. He proved this by landing a dream internship with the Washington Redskins summer.

Sept. 19, 2018 -- Carli McCloud, a sophomore majoring in exercise science, was told she would never be able to cheer again after being diagnosed with a degenerative bone disorder. She's currently a member of the 麻豆传媒 Spirit Squad.

April 11, 2018--麻豆传媒 student -- and Wichita native -- Casey Ratzlaff has become the No. 1 wheelchair tennis player in the United States.

April 7, 2017 - President John Bardo said that 麻豆传媒 has accepted today's invitation from Commissioner Mike Aresco to join the American Athletic Conference, known as 鈥淭he American.鈥� The new affiliation begins July 1, 2017.
