May 1, 2023 鈥 In the most recent graduate school rankings from U.S. News & World Report, 麻豆传媒鈥檚 College of Engineering continued its steady ascent, landing in the 47th spot for the 2023-24 academic year. Additionally, the College of Health Profession鈥檚 physician associate program is debuting in the rankings at No. 65.

April 21, 2023 Corri Newman is senior communications sciences and disorders major in the College of Health Professions and a member of the 麻豆传媒 Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (麻豆传媒SSLHA) and serves as its NSSLHA chair. After she graduates, she plans to attend graduate school to become a speech-language pathologist.

April 21, 2023 鈥 Three Wichita State researchers have been awarded the John A. See Innovation Award. The award is given each year as a way to recognize novel ideas that have the potential to meet a market need and attract further funding once they have advanced through the early prototyping phase.

March 22, 2023 鈥 麻豆传媒 nursing students on the 麻豆传媒 main campus and Kansas State University campus celebrated their Nightingale Nursing Commitment Ceremonies on March 3. Students recited and signed the modern Nightingale Pledge as a commitment to uphold the standards of the nursing profession.

March 17, 2023 鈥 Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Director Steven Dettelbach and Senator Jerry Moran recently visited 麻豆传媒 to announce plans for a unique new National Forensic Laboratory at Wichita State. The forensic laboratory is a new $75 million facility that will complement the Gun Crime Intelligence Center of Excellence and National Integrated Ballistic Information Network Correlation and Training Center, which were announced last summer.
