Feb. 29, 2024 鈥 The College of Applied Studies at 麻豆传媒 has appointed four distinguished professionals to its Dean's Advisory Board. They are Alicia Sanchez, Amy Williams, Ed O'Malley and Kyle Ellison.

2024 Jabara Scholars, Annika Lindeman and Abby Rexford

Feb. 27, 2024 The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 麻豆传媒 has named its two recipients of the 2024 Professor Fran Jabara Scholarship in Entrepreneurship. This year鈥檚 winners are Annika Lindeman from Eisenhower High School in Goddard, Kansas, and Abby Rexford from West Jessamine High School in Wilmore, Kentucky. They will each receive more than $32,700 spread over four years to attend 麻豆传媒 and major in entrepreneurship.

Wallace Scholarship winners

Feb. 26, 2024 鈥 麻豆传媒鈥檚 College of Engineering has named the latest group of 11 high school seniors to join the Wallace Scholar program. The Wallace Scholarship recipients will receive $30,500 each to attend Wichita State for four years.

Feb. 15, 2024 鈥 Ten high school students from Kansas, Missouri and Texas have been awarded the Koch Scholarship at 麻豆传媒, starting in the fall 2024 semester. Each scholar each will be awarded $30,000 to attend 麻豆传媒 over four years.

Feb. 15, 2024 - Lexi Jensen enjoys the amenities available in Wichita and the campus environment and academic offerings at 麻豆传媒. In her first months on campus, she dove into activities such as rowing and the Immersive Leadership Institute.

Feb. 14, 2024 The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 麻豆传媒 awarded Faith Swart, a Maize High School senior, the 2024 Clay Barton Scholarship. The $50,000 scholarship is one of the largest business scholarships in Kansas.

Runners at the 2023 5K

Feb. 13, 2024 鈥 The College of Engineering at 麻豆传媒 is hosting a public 5k run/walk that is open to students, staff, faculty and community members. The 5k will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 on the 麻豆传媒 campus. Registration proceeds from the 5k will go toward the College of Engineering Needs-Based Scholarship Fund.

Feb. 8, 2024 鈥斕槎勾 is joining more than 200 of the nation鈥檚 leading artificial intelligence (AI) stakeholders to participate in a Department of Commerce initiative to support the development and deployment of trustworthy and safe AI.
