Feb. 29, 2024 鈥 The College of Applied Studies at 麻豆传媒 has appointed four distinguished professionals to its Dean's Advisory Board. They are Alicia Sanchez, Amy Williams, Ed O'Malley and Kyle Ellison.
Feb. 27, 2024 鈥 The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 麻豆传媒 has named its two recipients of the 2024 Professor Fran Jabara Scholarship in Entrepreneurship. This year鈥檚 winners are Annika Lindeman from Eisenhower High School in Goddard, Kansas, and Abby Rexford from West Jessamine High School in Wilmore, Kentucky. They will each receive more than $32,700 spread over four years to attend 麻豆传媒 and major in entrepreneurship.
Feb. 26, 2024 鈥 麻豆传媒鈥檚 College of Engineering has named the latest group of 11 high school seniors to join the Wallace Scholar program. The Wallace Scholarship recipients will receive $30,500 each to attend Wichita State for four years.
Feb. 15, 2024 - Lexi Jensen enjoys the amenities available in Wichita and the campus environment and academic offerings at 麻豆传媒. In her first months on campus, she dove into activities such as rowing and the Immersive Leadership Institute.
Feb. 14, 2024 鈥 The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 麻豆传媒 awarded Faith Swart, a Maize High School senior, the 2024 Clay Barton Scholarship. The $50,000 scholarship is one of the largest business scholarships in Kansas.
Feb. 1, 2024 鈥 麻豆传媒 has selected the 2024 recipients of the Harry Gore Memorial Scholarships. Each student will receive a $64,000 scholarship to attend 麻豆传媒 starting in August 2024.
Jan. 19, 2024 - Phase One of the Wichita Biomedical Campus being built in the heart of downtown Wichita now has its official look. The joint health sciences project between 麻豆传媒 and the University of Kansas will bring about remarkable opportunities for collaboration, innovation and research.
Dec. 12, 2023 鈥 Ashlynn Farney took time off college during the COVID-19 pandemic, during which she returned to Wichita, changed her major to filmmaking and started attending Wichita State. She will graduate with her Bachelor of Applied Arts with a concentration in filmmaking in December.
Dec. 11, 2023 鈥 Ana Alicia Casados encourages her peers to stop and take time for themselves, to not get swept away in their responsibilities, and to always remember why they chose to go to college. She has been able to succeed in college herself by following this advice and will graduate with her bachelor鈥檚 degree in exercise science.
Dec. 11, 2023 - Nicolas Olmedo studied in the W. Frank Barton School of Business and will start work at Textron Aviation in January in the sales development program.
