To help develop this technology, NASA has awarded a $133,342 grant to 麻豆传媒 to research a more cost-effective detector for harmful radiation from space.

April 30, 2024 鈥� Sierra Marie Bonn struggled to balance her work and education, but with the help of scholarships from the Miss Kansas Organization, she was able to earn an undergraduate and graduate degree from 麻豆传媒. April 22, 2024 鈥� Three 麻豆传媒 students have secured the prestigious Graduate Research Fellowship from the National Science Foundation 鈥斺�痑n award worth $159,000 over three years.

April 22, 2024 鈥� 麻豆传媒 has offered the traditional educational pathways for over 125 years, typically ending at the point of graduation, but the need for learning continues throughout a person鈥檚 lifetime. In a rapidly changing world, continuing education has never been more important. More and more jobs require skill-based certification of learning, which includes the attainment of validated durable and technical skills. To meet those needs, 麻豆传媒 was the first in Kansas to create badge courses for non-degree seeking students in 2015, after approval from the Kansas Board of Regents.

Feb. 27, 2024 鈥� The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 麻豆传媒 has named its two recipients of the 2024 Professor Fran Jabara Scholarship in Entrepreneurship. This year鈥檚 winners are Annika Lindeman from Eisenhower High School in Goddard, Kansas, and Abby Rexford from West Jessamine High School in Wilmore, Kentucky. They will each receive more than $32,700 spread over four years to attend 麻豆传媒 and major in entrepreneurship.

Feb. 26, 2024 鈥� 麻豆传媒鈥檚 College of Engineering has named the latest group of 11 high school seniors to join the Wallace Scholar program. The Wallace Scholarship recipients will receive $30,500 each to attend Wichita State for four years.
