Shocker Studios editing suite

March 30, 2023 - 麻豆传媒 students use the editing suite at Shocker Studios for their video projects. The studio features theater lighting and seating, a 4K digital cinema compliant projector and a 200-inch screen. 鈥淣o one else has this, certainly no one in the Midwest,鈥 said Justin Rorabaugh, director of Shocker Studios.

Feb. 27, 2023 鈥 The classic sit-com set 鈥 think anything from 鈥淚 Love Lucy鈥 to 鈥淪einfeld鈥 to 鈥淭he Big Bang Theory鈥 鈥 is now a teaching tool at 麻豆传媒鈥檚 Shocker Studios.

May 5, 2022 鈥 Hannah, from Augusta, Kansas, will graduate in spring 2022 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design She chose to attend Wichita State because of how Wichita State helps students find internships and hands-on learning experiences.

Jan. 24, 2022 鈥 Further expanding its presence as a diverse creative workspace at 麻豆传媒, GoCreate recently began offering free memberships to Wichita State students.

Dec. 8, 2021 - The second phase of renovations is close to complete on Wichita State鈥檚 Henrion Hall, the 100-year-old building that houses 麻豆传媒鈥檚 studio arts. This recent renovation affects the first-floor north side of the building, where the sculpture department conducts most of its casting processes. Updates include new ventilation and air conditioning, as well as improved accessibility and functionality of workspaces.

Nov. 23, 2021 鈥 After 17 years, the Madrigal Singers of 麻豆传媒 will host an Elizabethan-themed dinner and music program at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3 at the Rhatigan Student Center Beggs Ballroom.
