Dec. 06, 2023 鈥� Addison Karsak, who goes by Addi, encourages Shockers to get involved with the campus community and to make sure to seek advice when they feel they are struggling. She will receive her Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science with a minor in Health Management and hopes to continue her education by getting her Doctor of Chiropractic after graduating.

Dec. 06, 2023 鈥� Gabriela Malache, who goes by Gaby, is a Wichita native graduating with her BA in exercise science. She found it difficult to adapt to a fully online learning environment, but she took every advantage to step out of her comfort zone when she got back to campus, which she says other students should do as well.

Dec. 05, 2023 鈥� Joe Mazzara is a GSA serving as the assistant director of聽Wichita State Esports, an opportunity that initially drew him to 麻豆传媒. He was also a featured guest on the聽September 2023 episode of President Rick Muma's "Forward Together" podcast. After graduating with his master鈥檚 degree, he plans to pursue additional education by pursuing his doctorate.

Sept. 5, 2023 - 鈥淭eaching is for Superheroes!鈥� offers 鈥渋nsight and inspiration for your classroom (tights and cape optional.鈥� It鈥檚 targeted at new, veteran and aspiring teachers and uses superhero archetypes to help educators understand their role, improve their skills and maintain enthusiasm during a challenging time.

July 28, 2023 - Eight students representing six 麻豆传媒 colleges recently participated in the Lead for Tomorrow Leadership Academy in the Cohen Honors College. Five faculty members led the interdisciplinary course presenting content from their field focused on the theme 鈥淐onnected Leadership: Creating a Community of Leaders.鈥� Students then were tasked to apply course content to challenges presented by local community partners.

July 5, 2023 鈥� A new 麻豆传媒 initiative is aimed at addressing the critical shortage of educators in special education and elementary classrooms.

May 11, 2023 - Lucy Schneider, a sport management major, jumped into applied learning opportunities with Wichita State鈥檚 athletic department and will use those experiences as she pursues her master鈥檚 degree.

April 3, 2023 鈥� A user experience (UX) Austin research firm has discovered a secret ingredient in its recipe for success: 麻豆传媒 students. In the past decade, several students have found their way to Human Interfaces, an Austin UX firm, for both applied learning experiences and full-time careers.

March 3, 2023 鈥斅犅槎勾�媒 has selected the 2023 recipient of the Linwood Sexton Scholarship: Grecia Esparza from Wichita East High School. Esparza will receive a full-ride scholarship to attend Wichita this fall.
