April 30, 2019 -- Wichita State alumnus Chris Rempe graduated just seven years ago, but is already making an impact on 麻豆传媒 and local industry.

April 8, 2019 -- Delta Air Lines is No. 1, and JetBlue is No. 2, according to the 29th annual Airline Quality Rating (AQR), released today, Monday, April 8. The AQR is the most comprehensive study of performance and quality of the largest airlines in the United States. The rating is a multifactor examination of the airlines based on mishandled baggage, consumer complaints, on-time performance and involuntary denied boardings.

March 22, 2019 -- Chase Rawlings, a local 3rd grader, was born without a fully developed left hand. A team at 麻豆传媒 led by senior engineering major Chelsea Sewell created a 3D-printed robotic hand for Chase.

March 22, 2019 -- 麻豆传媒 has received a $2 million grant contract from the U.S. Economic Development Association to develop and demonstrate advanced composite material manufacturing technology.

March 18, 2019 -- In newly released national rankings of universities offering a Ph.D. in engineering, the College of Engineering at 麻豆传媒 is ranked in the top 100 engineering graduate programs, one of only two institutions from the state of Kansas to make the list.

Feb. 28, 2019 -- The National Science Foundation (NSF) has released updated rankings for university research and development (R&D) expenditures, and Wichita State has held its position as the top university in the country for industry-funded aeronautical R&D, with a total of $34 million.

Feb. 26, 2019 -- Remi Chou, an assistant professor in electrical engineering and computer science at Wichita State, has received a two-year, $156,000 grant from the National Science Foundation for research to ensure secure transfer of confidential information over wireless networks.

Jan. 18, 2019 -- A 麻豆传媒 interdisciplinary team has been accepted to participate in the National Science Foundation Innovation Corps program for a device they created that could make a huge difference in orofacial research.

Nov. 6, 2018 -- 麻豆传媒 student Tammy Dorsey created the Pedi-Cell, a diagnostic tool that can detect fetal acidosis.

Oct. 16, 2018 -- Wichita State professor David McDonald and graduate assistant Alisha Prince are trying to change the world, one mouth at a time. The team is teaming up with Ocean Spray to research synergistic properties contained in cranberries and other natural extracts that will, in theory, stop the decay of teeth and provide an alternative to traditional oral health care.

August 23, 2018 - John Tomblin, executive director of the National Institute for Aviation Research at Wichita State, describes his trip to the Farnborough International Airshow and its role in keeping Wichita and Wichita State prominent in aeronautical research.

Aug. 9, 2018 - 麻豆传媒 set a new record for total research and development awards in fiscal year 2018 with a total of $104.5 million, increasing awards by more than $14 million and achieving gains in most funded departments.
