March 14, 2024 - For a second year, 麻豆传媒 will show off its unique cultural and educational assets while welcoming the community to campus during Open Streets ICT - 麻豆传媒 and Shocker Neighborhood on April 14.

Sept. 11, 2023 鈥 麻豆传媒 is holding a parade next month and is inviting anyone in the community to join in. Starting at 6 p.m. Oct. 6 on the 麻豆传媒 campus, the parade is part of the university鈥檚 annual Shocktoberfest celebration.

Nov. 30, 2022 - Wichita State earned 鈥淢ost Engaged Campus for College Student Voting鈥 recognition from ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge. It is one of 394 colleges and universities recognized for making intentional, nonpartisan efforts to increase student voter participation.

Oct. 18, 2022 鈥 麻豆传媒 student organizations, the Community Service Board, and fraternity and sororities completed 13,857 service hours in fiscal year 2022. That time reflects a growing interest in and emphasis on community service by students and faculty, said Gabriel Fonseca, director of Student Engagement, Advocacy & Leadership

Aug. 19, 2022 - With initiatives such as roundtable discussions, early voting and voter registration drives, 麻豆传媒 earned a Highly Established Action Plan Seal from the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge. Wichita State is one of 82 colleges and universities recognized for its commitment to increasing nonpartisan democratic engagement in 2022.
