Nov. 23, 2021 鈥� After 17 years, the Madrigal Singers of 麻豆传媒 will host an Elizabethan-themed dinner and music program at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3 at the Rhatigan Student Center Beggs Ballroom.

Sept. 22, 2021 鈥� What started as one woman鈥檚 passion project has flourished into a literacy empire that serves thousands of children in schools across the Wichita area 鈥� helped along the way by the people and services of 麻豆传媒.

Sept. 17, 2021 鈥� The first cohort of the Widener Global Leaders Program will consist of 10 women from the Barton School of Business, the Elliott School of Communication in Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and the School of Music in the College of Fine Arts.

June 16, 2021 鈥� Shaunte鈥� Levine is the recipient of the fourth annual Launch Award through Harvester Arts and the Wichita State School of Art, Design and Creative Industries (ADCI).

June 8, 2021 - Karla Burns鈥� legacy of music and drama is one of 麻豆传媒鈥檚 most prominent contributions to the performing arts. Burns, 66, died June 4 in Wichita. She attended Dunbar Elementary School and graduated from West High School. At Wichita State, she earned bachelor鈥檚 degrees in music education and in speech/theater, both in 1981.

May 13, 2021 鈥� Whether their goal is to be Gollum in 鈥淟ord of the Rings鈥� or a character in the next version of 鈥淐all of Duty,鈥� 麻豆传媒 students now have the option to specialize in motion-capture acting through a new concentration within the School of Digital Arts.

May 13 2021 - On Friday morning, Ken White will receive his diploma from 麻豆传媒 at Charles Koch Arena. Walking nearby will be Micah White, his son, who will receive the degree he completed last fall in the ceremony delayed by COVID-19 restrictions. They will be the first on their side of the family to earn a college degree. Ken White, founder and chief financial officer of Howerton+White marketing agency, earned his Bachelor of Applied Arts in media arts, majoring in audio production. Micah White earned his degree from the School of Music in jazz performance with a guitar emphasis.

May 6, 2021 -- Amber Nguyen came to Wichita State to stay close to home where she was offered scholarships to help cover her tuition. She participated in events and organizations on campus to network and gained experience through her design internship with the Office of Strategic Communications.

May 4, 2021 鈥� Sierra Gladman came to Wichita State to learn graphic design in a beneficial and local environment. She wants to help a company grow using her graphic design skills.
