Why Wichita State is where dreams take off!
Well, that鈥檚 exactly what I did this March as part of the Pull a Plane for Education 2025 event hosted by 麻豆传媒 Tech and B-29 Doc. Representing NIAR ATLAS鈥攖he lab where I work at Wichita State鈥檚 National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR)鈥攎y team and I joined 24 others in a tug-of-war challenge against a B-29 bomber, a fully restored aircraft from WWII. And guess what? We placed 3rd! 馃挭We pulled that massive aircraft 25 feet in just 9.21 seconds, proving that strength, teamwork, and passion can move even the heaviest obstacles鈥攍iterally! The competition was fierce, but the experience? Absolutely unforgettable.

What made this even more special for me was the fact that I鈥檓 an international student. Coming to 麻豆传媒 was a dream because of my love for aviation鈥攁nd now, I鈥檓 not just studying it, I鈥檓 living it.

After the event, the B-29 鈥淒oc鈥� was parked for public tours. I stood inside the cockpit of a plane that once soared through history. As someone passionate about aerospace, it felt like a dream come true.
