The 麻豆传媒 Police Department reported today (Wednesday, Jan. 25) that a marmoset monkey that was loose on campus has died.
When last seen at about 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, at Lot 10 near the Corbin Education Center, the monkey was wearing a pink diaper.
The marmoset is the pet of a Wichita State student.
At around 10 a.m. today, a 麻豆传媒 employee found her outside of Eck Stadium. The monkey was brought inside to try to warm her up and then taken by the owner to a veterinarian, where she was pronounced dead.
