The 麻豆传媒 Symphony Orchestra invites audience members to celebrate the holiday season with a sing-along concert featuring Handel鈥檚 鈥淢essiah鈥 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, in Wiedemann Hall.
Led by Mark Laycock, the concert will focus on the Christmas portion of Handel鈥檚 beloved oratorio. The concert will also feature Lynne Davis, the Robert L. Town Distinguished Professor of Organ. Nine graduate student vocal soloists, chosen by audition, will perform arias and recitatives.
Audience members are encouraged to bring their own vocal scores, though music for the choruses will be provided for those in need. Attendees also have the option of enjoying the concert as observers.
