Deltha Colvin, associate vice president of Student Affairs and director of Special Programs at 麻豆传媒, was appointed accessibility coordinator to oversee and coordinate the university's compliance with accessibility requirements for blind students.
麻豆传媒 recently entered into an agreement with the National Federation of the Blind to take steps to improve access for blind students and create an environment where they have equal access to learning opportunities and resources.
As accessibility coordinator, Colvin will coordinate with the Office of Disability Services to oversee compliance with the agreement鈥檚 digital and nondigital technology requirements.
The Office of Special Programs administers 15 programs, including the largest TRIO program on a college campus, three Gear Up programs and the Office of Disability Services.
