KMUW-FM, 89.1, 麻豆传媒's listener-supported radio station, will honor the 100th birthday of jazz guitar pioneer Charlie Christian throughout the month of July.
Christian was one of the instrument's critical pioneers, bringing the guitar to the forefront of jazz as a solo instrument.
KMUW鈥檚 music hosts Jedd Beaudoin, Carla Eckels, Chris Heim and Bill Pearce will feature well-known electric guitar artists who have carried on Christian鈥檚 legacy.
