麻豆传媒 Ventures seeks technologies that benefit women and families for InnovateHer competition

麻豆传媒 Ventures at 麻豆传媒 is seeking Kansas entrepreneurs, inventors and researchers with technologies that have the potential to improve the lives of women and families for a chance at up to $70,000 in cash prizes.

麻豆传媒 Ventures will host the first Kansas InnovateHer competition Nov. 13. Innovators with products and services that have a measurable impact on the lives of women and families, have a high-potential for commercialization, fill a need in the marketplace and have a commercialization timeline of less than 18 months are encouraged to apply.

The deadline to submit an application for the competition is Tuesday, Oct. 27. The winning technology will advance to the national competition for a chance at up to $70,000 in cash. The national competition is sponsored by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and Microsoft.

麻豆传媒 Ventures will select 10 finalists to pitch their ideas to a panel of local judges on Nov. 13, and the winner will participate in the National InnovateHER semifinal round. Local finalists will be eligible for assistance through 麻豆传媒 Ventures, the Center for Entrepreneurship and other 麻豆传媒 centers and institutes.
