Judges selected concepts from 32 teams to advance to the 10-page screening round of the competition. From those 32 teams, 16 new venture teams were selected to advance to the trade show round.

Selection for the trade show was based on the concept鈥檚 market viability, its stage of development and financial projections.

The trade show, held April 24 at Charles Koch Arena, gave teams the chance to pitch their new venture to about 150 judges. These judges were given $10,000 in 鈥淪hocker Dollars鈥 to invest in teams they believed to have the best chance of succeeding in the marketplace.
