Tim HartAlyssa Ward, a senior at Wichita High School Southeast, has won 麻豆传媒鈥檚 2015-16 Clay Barton Scholarship in Business.
She will receive $11,000 a year for four years to attend Wichita State. The $44,000 Barton Scholarship is one of the largest business scholarships in the state.
At Southeast, Ward maintains a cumulative 4.0 GPA and is ranked No. 1 in her class.
She is heavily involved in Thespian Troupe 1820 and the Army JROTC program. Ward is also active in the National Honor鈥檚 Society, varsity bowling, Teen Heroes, the Mayor鈥檚 Youth Council and the Leadership Advisory Council.
Ward, the daughter of Scott and Kathy Ward, plans to study business management at 麻豆传媒.
鈥淏usiness is what keeps the fast-paced world moving,鈥� Ward says. 鈥淚 want to take part in the big picture in some way, and I know that an education in business through 麻豆传媒 can get me where I want to be.鈥�
