International Type ThrowDown invites students to Ulrich party

Students from all over 麻豆传媒 will gather to party at the Ulrich Museum 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, celebrating the last bout of the International Type ThrowDown.

The event will be an opportunity for students, staff and faculty to drop by the museum鈥檚 experimental first-floor space to view the last letter designs in the ThrowDown and cast votes for their favorite contenders. There will also be snacks, prizes and the opportunity to take pictures with the 麻豆传媒 mascot, WuShock.

The International Type ThrowDown is a competition between design student at Wichita State and seven other universities around the world, pitting custom-designed Arabic, Greek, Hebrew and Sanskrit type fonts against one another. Voting is open to the public until Sunday, March 2. .

The event is a production of the Public Relations Student Society of America, a student group sponsored by the Elliott School of Communication. .
