The Ulrich Museum of Art at 麻豆传媒 has two upcoming events in September.
- 鈥淣ature鈥檚 Toolbox: Biodiversity, Art and Invention鈥 connects art and science in an exhibition of the contemporary works of more than 40 international artists in media, ranging from 3D animation and video sculpture, to an installation of more than 90,000 wooden chopsticks. The exhibition is on view until Dec. 15 in the Amsden and Polk/Wilson galleries, and will be celebrated at the fall party at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14.
- 鈥淭he Beautiful Math of Coral鈥 is a keynote talk by Margaret Wertheim, a TED-Talk presenter, prolific science writer and master crochet artist. Learn about finding beauty at the intersection of nature, math and physics. The event is 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, at 麻豆传媒鈥檚 CAC Theater. Admission is free, and the program is open to the public.
