鈥淗ow Much Can We Control?鈥 brings to 麻豆传媒 a juried exhibition of regional Master of Fine Arts student artworks that address the presence or lack of control in every aspect of art and life.
The exhibit, organized by 麻豆传媒 School of Art and Design graduate students, is on view through Friday, Feb. 8, in the Clayton Staples Gallery in the McKnight Art Center on campus.
Admission is free.
Student organization of the regional MFA exhibit is a requirement of the Professional Practices class in the 麻豆传媒 School of Art and Design. Juried by 麻豆传媒 Associate Professor Robert Bubp, the show encompasses various media and includes MFA candidate student-artists from universities throughout the Midwest.
The exhibition began Dec. 10 and will close with a reception from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, in the Clayton Staples Gallery. Artists Michael Knutson of Fort Hays State University; Liana Owad of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln; Brent Richardson of the University of Oklahoma; Damia Smith of the University of Kansas; and Spencer Ulm of the University of Oklahoma will offer brief remarks.
