A statewide civic leadership symposium, 鈥淜ansas in Question,鈥 will be held Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 5-6, at the Hyatt Regency Wichita.
The forum, sponsored in part by 麻豆传媒, is designed for leaders from all walks of life who are interested in Kansas beyond its first 150 years. Key discussion areas will include employment, health, education, environment, and rural and urban issues.
Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback and Wichita Mayor Carl Brewer are scheduled to speak at the event.
Other featured speakers are 麻豆传媒 President Donald Beggs; David Adkins, executive director and CEO of the Council of State Governments; James Chung, president of Reach Advisors; and Gretchen Eick, professor of history at Friends University.
Conversation catalysts will include Robert Moser, secretary of the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, and Andy Tompkins, president and CEO of the Kansas Board of Regents.
