The summit will take a retrospective look at the school鈥檚 report 鈥淓nhancing the Delivery of Public Services by Nonprofit Agencies,鈥 which was published in 2000. The report made several recommendations on building capacity in nonprofit organizations and on developing productive partnerships between Sedgwick County and nonprofit organizations that deliver public services.

Director Nancy McCarthy Snyder said summit participants will assess changes in nonprofit governance, administration and financial management, and look forward to future challenges and opportunities for effective service delivery.

The summit will include an update of the 2000 report, a panel of experts who will discuss changes that have take n place over the past decade, and roundtable discussions to consider future directions for public-private partnerships in the delivery of human services.

The summit will attract a diverse audience of service providers, board members and funders who were involved in the original study along with individuals in new leadership and provider positions.
