Entrepreneurship seminar will focus on technology

The Center for Entrepreneurship at 麻豆传媒 is offering a summer seminar designed for today鈥檚 entrepreneurs and small businesses seeking to keep up with the latest technology shifts.

The seminar is from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, in Devlin Hall. To register, go to .

The 鈥淭echnology Tool Box鈥 is a full day of training divided into two sessions: The morning session is designed to better leverage your knowledge of social couponing, mobile applications, and to measure the effectiveness of your business鈥 marketing.

The afternoon will focus on advancing your product knowledge and help you look ahead to the future of technologies.

As a part of the center鈥檚 鈥淧ractical Entrepreneur Training Tools鈥 series, the 鈥淭echnology Tool Box鈥 aims to position entrepreneurs and small businesses to change quickly and respond to today's dynamic economic times.

Whether for a start-up or established business, these programs will provide you with the skills and knowledge to succeed. 

鈥淭he focus is to help entrepreneurs take a new tool and apply it to their business in order to remain competitive one challenge at a time,鈥 said Tim Pett, director of the Center for Entrepreneurship. 鈥淭he 鈥楾echnology Tool Box鈥 is designed for today鈥檚 entrepreneurs and small businesses seeking to keep up with the latest technology shifts.鈥
