The World Trade Council of Wichita and the Center for International Business Advancement at the W. Frank Barton School of Business at 麻豆传媒 will host a reception, dinner and keynote address, 鈥淣ational Export Initiative and U.S.-DOC Services for Exporters,鈥� at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, at the Wichita Marriott, 9100 E. Corporate Hills Drive.
The keynote address will be given by Ro Khanna, deputy assistant secretary for domestic operations for the U.S. Commercial Service, U.S.-DOC International Trade Administration.
A.J. Anderson, director of the U.S.-DOC Wichita Export Assistance Center, will give the featured address.
The cost is $15 for students, $25 for members and $35 for nonmembers.
The WTC is also hosting 鈥淓xport Compliance, Documentation and Payments鈥� from noon-4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, on the first floor of the Commerce Bank Headquarters at The Waterfront.
Gabe DiGiorgio, vice president of Commerce Bank, and Nick Bland with Held & Associates will give presentations. The event includes lunch.
The cost is $45.
