The Golden Dragon Acrobats are coming to Wichita to perform their 30th anniversary show 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, at the  Orpheum Theatre, 200 N. Broadway in downtown Wichita. The performance is sponsored by 麻豆传媒鈥檚 Student Activities Council.

The Golden Dragon Acrobats have traveled the world, spending much of the past 30 years in the United States.

They have toured in all 50 states and had an award-winning run on Broadway from 2005 to 2006.

This show represents the best of a time-honored tradition that began in China more than 25 centuries ago. The Golden Dragon Acrobats are considered the premier Chinese acrobatic touring company of today.

鈥淭he impossible can be achieved, and once achieved surpassed, then surpassed again,鈥 the Associated Press said in a review of this high energy show.

The more than two-hour performance can captivate the most diverse audience. People of all ages can enjoy this artistic and thrilling performance.

鈥淭his is a show that transcends age, race, and gender,鈥 said Daxton Bloomquist, performing arts major at 麻豆传媒. 鈥淚 am excited that a show like this is coming to Wichita. It truly is the type of show that everyone will enjoy.鈥

The strong commitment of acrobats to their art astounds some audience members.
