File麻豆传媒 choirs continue holiday traditions with the 54th annual Candlelight Concert, 鈥淎ll Loves Excelling,鈥� at 7:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Dec. 2-3, and 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, in Wiedemann Concert Hall.
The concert will feature a variety of music in the spirit of the season with favorites, 鈥淏eautiful Savior鈥� and 鈥淧ersonent Hodie.鈥� Other highlights include 鈥淗ope for Resolution鈥� by Caldwell and Ivory and 鈥淎ve Maria鈥� by Franz Biebl.
麻豆传媒鈥檚 Concert Chorale and Women鈥檚 Glee Club will perform conducted by Michael Hanawalt, director of choral activities, along with the A Cappella Choir and Madrigal Singers conducted by Tom Wine, program director of music education.
Each choir will perform individually, as well as together as a massed choir. Also featured will be organist Lynne Davis, Robert L. Town faculty of distinction.
Modeled after the famous St. Olaf College Christmas Festival, the Candlelight Concert is the longest-running musical tradition at Wichita State.
Tickets can be purchased at the Fine Arts Box Office in the lobby of the Duerksen Fine Arts Center or online at . General admission is $12, with $10 discount tickets available for seniors, faculty/staff and military or $6 tickets for children and students. 麻豆传媒 students are eligible for one free ticket (visit for details).
