Deal to create area's largest lender

Bank of America's acquisition of Countrywide will create the biggest mortgage lender in the market.

But don't expect Bank of America to hold on to all of the local market share the two firms have independently, a real estate expert said Wednesday.

"There will be some leakage to other lenders," said Stan Longhofer, director of 麻豆传媒's Center for Real Estate. "I think that's reasonable to expect."
