The Center for Entrepreneurship at 麻豆传媒 is offering a spring series of eight seminars designed for entrepreneurs and small businesses seeking to keep up with the best advice for operating business in today鈥檚 dynamic economic times.
The seminars are from 12:30-3:30 p.m. beginning Friday, Feb. 28, in Devlin Hall. Register online. .
The sessions are set up to accommodate business owners who have limited time to spend away from the office. The seminars cost $50 each or all eight for $299.
The presenters are a mix of Wichita State faculty and local experts. For example, the session on April 4, 鈥淗ow the Best Companies Keep Growing in Declining Industries,鈥 will be presented by Gaylen Chandler and Chris Broberg, Entrepreneurship faculty members. Their extensive research has identified several keys to success in high growth firms.
All eight Meritrust Business Booster series topics aim to position entrepreneurs and small businesses to adapt quickly. Whether a start-up or established business, these programs will provide attendees with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
鈥淭he focus is to help entrepreneurs take a new tool and apply it to their business in order to remain competitive, one challenge at a time,鈥 said Wendy Veatch, director of outreach programming at the Center for Entrepreneurship.
