Ron Kopita, vice president for campus life and university relations at 麻豆传媒, has announced that he will retire shortly after the 2009 spring semester.

A national search will be conducted in the fall to fill the position.
"As I approach 65, I've reached the time in my life where I'd like to do more activities of a recreational nature and to spend time with my children and grandchildren who all live in Austin (Texas)," said Kopita.
Ron and his wife, Pearl, have two children and two grandchildren, and they plan to move to the Austin area next summer.
