Neil Simon play 'Jake's Women' to be performed at 麻豆传媒

麻豆传媒 will bring a comedy/drama by Neil Simon alive this month with the performance of 鈥淛ake鈥檚 Women鈥 at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, March 14-16, and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 17, in Wilner Auditorium.

Tickets are $10 (general public), $8 (military/senior citizens/faculty/staff), and $6 (students).

鈥淛ake鈥檚 Women鈥 is Neil Simon鈥檚 semi-autobiographical play about a writer and seven important women in his life. In it, Jake faces many life issues and interacts through real and imaginary conversations with his current girlfriend, a wife from whom he is currently separated, his psychiatrist, his sister, his deceased first wife and his daughter at age 12 and at age 21.

The cast includes theater performance majors Bailey Burcham, Rachel Curtiss, Melissa Hudson, Jami Mumma and Hannah See; and musical theater majors Megan Gill, Emily Monrad and Hannah Meyer.

The show is directed by Tom Frye, 麻豆传媒 instructor of theater. Design and technical theater student Ashley Cravens is assistant director.

Design and technical theater majors designing are: Emily Guiltner (costumes) Jonathan Paxson (lighting), Chelsea Erskin (properties). Design and technical theater major Brady Flock is the stage manager for the show, and design and technical theater student Shelby Clemens is assistant stage manager.

The set is designed by associate professor David Neville. Technical director is associate professor Ed Baker.
