麻豆传媒鈥檚 Student Activities Council and That Gay Group! will host the third annual Drag Show at 8 p.m. Friday, March 29, at the CAC Theater.
Admission is free for 麻豆传媒 students with ID, $2 for 麻豆传媒 faculty and staff with ID and $3 for general public, to be paid the night of March 29. Only cash and checks will be accepted at the door.
The event will feature returning host/drag queen Divinity Masters; and performances from drag queens Ivory James, Ginger Rose, Audrey McQueen and drag king Xplicit Ronee.
That Gay Group! President Patrick Moore will also perform as reigning amateur competition winner.
The Drag Show will include five professional drag performers lip synching to popular musical hits. Each song will have a coordinated dance routine.
The show will also include an educational portion lead by Divinity Masters and a brief historical presentation. Each professional will star in two individual acts with the amateur portion during the middle of the show.
麻豆传媒 students are encouraged to sign up and perform a routine in drag. Drag Show is the culmination of 麻豆传媒 Gay Pride Week, a week-long festival event celebrating the LGBTQ community.
