Three finalists for vice president for academic affairs at 麻豆传媒 will make campus visits next week. Each candidate will meet with various constituency groups and participate in an open forum for the entire campus community.
Candidate open forums for the 麻豆传媒 community will be held from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 19-21, in 209 Hubbard Hall.

The candidates, in order of their campus visits, are as follows:
Dennis Depew 鈥 Tuesday, Feb. 19
Dennis Depew has been dean emeritus at the College of Technology at Purdue University since July 2011, and is interim director of Global Policy Research Institute. He served as dean and professor of technology at Purdue from 2002-2011.
Depew received his bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 degree in technology education at East Tennessee State University in 1975 and 1984, respectively. He also earned a doctoral degree in industrial technology at Purdue University in 1987.
John Koropchak 鈥 Wednesday, Feb. 20
John Koropchak has been vice chancellor for research and graduate dean, and professor of chemistry and biochemistry at Southern Illinois University from 2002 to the present.
Koropchak earned an A.B. in chemistry in 1976 from Lafayette College in Easton, Pa., and a doctoral degree in analytical chemistry from the University of Georgia in 1980.
Anthony Vizzini 鈥 Thursday, Feb. 21
Anthony Vizzini has been dean and professor of the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Western Michigan University from 2009 to the present. From 2003-2009, he was department head, professor and inaugural holder of the Bill and Carolyn Cobb Chair, aerospace engineering, at Mississippi State University.
Vizzini earned an S.B. in aeronautics and astronautics in 1981, an S.B. in mathematics in 1982, an S.M. in aeronautics and astronautics in 1983, and a doctoral degree in aeronautics and astronautics in 1986, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
