Thousands of Kansas students in 3rd through 12th grade will be receiving a hypothetical $100,000 to invest this spring in real companies and real prices while they gain firsthand experience managing an online investment portfolio through The Stock Market Game program (SMG).
More than five thousand Kansas students are already registered to participate. Registrations will be accepted until the middle of February.
The SMG is free this school year to all Kansas classrooms thanks to the generous contributors of the Kansas Council for Economic Education (KCEE). The KCEE is affiliated with all of Kansas鈥 six public universities and is hosted by the W. Frank Barton School of Business at 麻豆传媒.
